Hello, Bookish Buddies! I wrote this review the second I finished Pivot Point with the intent to edit it, but seeing as I would like to finish up my online class so I can enjoy my vacation as much as I can…well, you’ll see. If you’re not familiar with Pivot Point, here is the synopsis:

Addison Coleman’s life is one big “What if?” As a Searcher, whenever Addie is faced with a choice, she can look into the future and see both outcomes. It’s the ultimate insurance plan against disaster. Or so she thought. So I just finished Pivot Point. Literally like a minute ago. And although this review isn’t going to go up for a few days, I just need to share my thoughts. It’s one of those books.
While reading Pivot Point, I thought it would be a 2.5 star read. Then the plot twist at the end happened. It was pure genius. It explained everything that might cause me to deduct stars. Except the female-female hate, which is why this is a 4.5 star read as opposed to a 5 star read. But I’ll get into that later.
When you start Pivot Point, up until the last few chapters, you think it’s crappy, riddled with plot holes, etc. I almost DNF’d this book too many times to count, but I’m so glad I didn’t because everything makes sense in the end.
Since I don’t normally do spoilers, I won’t do spoilers now, but this plot is solid. And the characters are also really well done. Except Stephanie, who’s just there to be a jealous asshole, which is why I deducted half a star. Basically, she was a jealous ex of a love interest.
Basically, if you like Sci fi and epic plot twists, this book is for you. I gave this book 4.5/5 stars overall.
