Bagging a Greek God
review 1: I enjoyed this book, I'd heard mixed reviews, including a review saying it was unbelievable but I don't understand that one, it's a book based in greek gods, they're going to be able to do things most can't! I thought it was well done and their powers were appropriately restricted to their role in the greek pantheon. I love tales that transplant the gods into the modern world and give them new lives based either entirely or loosely on their designations in mythology. I enjoyed the take on the gods and the relationship between Annie and Ross (Eros). I like that it didn't over focus on the paranormal elements, not that I would have been averse to more paranormal elements in the book but I liked the focus on the characters themselves and their relationships.I look forward to ... moreseeing what's between Ari and Dion and if she can tie the god of debauchery down to one female, if she'll even try to or believes him to be too hopeless to ever trust in that way but like Annie and later Ross, I can see something there between them and I love for it to explored in their own book!
review 2: Romance, humor, and Sexy Gods from Greek Mythology sign me up. Annie has given up on finding Mr. Right instead she will settle for Mr. Right now so she goes out to the bar dressed all sexy to find him. But what she ends up finding is a bar full of Gods and Goddess and humans. But one God catches her eye the God of Love Eros himself but trying to snag him is easy said then done. Eros has sworn off women all together after his wife left him a long time ago. But when Annie is hurt by Harry they guy Eros tells her to talk to at the bar, Eros walks her home but what happens next catches them both of guard. I so enjoyed this story filled with Sexy Gods Eros and Dion. The Goddess Ari and Brita are just as great. But Annie and Eros really made the story for me. I just fell in love with the characters and the struggles they go through. I really connected with Annie and all her doubts about herself it really hit home with me but where she finds faults Eros sees nothing but Beauty when he sees Annie. I am really hoping that we will get more of Dion and Ari in the next book. I know there is more story with them. 4/5 Bats~Sabrina less
