review 1: This book was incredible. Full of questions and mysteries right from the first page. This is the story of Lucie and how she lost her memory. Right from the beginning you are sucked in with what's going on. You read from Lucies point of view as she is told she has amnesia. This is all she knows about herself until her fiance finds her to bring her home. Once she is home the writing takes on other points of view and it's wonderful to see how her condition is affecting not only her but the people around her. She has to discover herself all over again. This book was written so wonderfully, there were times I felt awkward, sad, happy, confused, and angry. Getting such emotion from a book is what makes it good to read and this book was full of goodness!!
review 2: Lo... moreved this book for women my age. Raises the question: if you were to wake up with no memory, which of your hang ups and personality traits would still be a part of you? Who is the authentic you? And if you could look at the person you love with fresh eyes, would you see all the positive things, instead of the little irritations/annoying habits that seem to take center stage after so many years...... less
