review 1: A Bachelor Firemen novel. Story of Derek "Vader" Brown who is a firefighter. He is always playing pranks and playing around. He meets Cherie and falls in love. He decides to try for Captain so that he can provide for his mother's home care. But he believes that he has to change his personality and become more serious. Cherie has her sister to care for and is trying got escape from a bad situation in her past. Cherie doesn't want her past to touch Vader.

It was sweet and funny. It was a little slow in some parts, but it had enough steamy areas to keep it going.Vader was a great lead guy. He was the typical alpha-male, class-clown hero. His job is to save people but the one person he's willing to risk everything to save has turned him down....twice.I am not compelled to go back and read the previous books but they seem like they would be good for a quick, light read. less
