review 1: This is by far one of my most favorite series of all time. I feel engrossed in the characters and their lives. I love that Jennifer gave us both strong female and male characters. It's almost as if the characters can't be perfect without their soulmate and when they find their soulmate, heaven help those who get on their way. This installment in the series left me a little disappointed in comparison to the first four books. At the end I found myself looking for more pages that I thought my ereader didn't download but alas they weren't there. However even though I didn't like the ending of this one in comparison to the rest it doesn't sway me from my love for this series. I'm dying for the next book to come out!!
review 2: 3.5 stars - Witch Slayer Ram has been ... morefighting his curse with rigid self-control but now that his Thunderbird tatoo is waking that control is slipping, and it doesn't help that the witch who is his soul mirror has run from him or that the woman he really wants the sweet and innocent sister of a friend - so someone he can never have.I really liked Forbidden Magic, it was very steamy and had almost as much story as one of the full Wing Slayer's book - great setup and a really knotty conflict for the pair to overcome - right up the point where it ended and I was wondering if I had a defective version, it was so abrupt. Still for a buck it was a good little read as long as you know that the pair's story isn't done, apparently if the author's schedule cooperates there will be another novella in the fall CAGE MAGIC, which I will read I want to know what happens next. less
