review 1: 4.5 starsI love this time of year when the holiday anthologies and novellas are out. This is one collection I really enjoyed. My favorite Drew and Kate's, Emma Chase made me miss these two even more such a fun short. It's cute, sweet with Christmas like only Drew can. Kristen Proby's characters from Love Under the Big Sky series make an appearance in Grace's story which had just right amount of sweet, humor and sexy with the holiday cheer. Grace cracks me up, the chemistry with Jacob was charming. I like the plot too kinda wishing they have more after but its pretty solid as is. Jennifer Probst's Searching for characters are back and this time a client enemies but not really with history. Seeing as I love that kind story I got sucked in easily. One snow storm equals time t... moreo get to know the other, what is a perfect match on paper or in this case equation there has to be something. If youre looking for a nice read for the holiday and you like these characters from their reapective series check this one out.
review 2: This book by far tops the list as best Christmas romance anthology, one i look forward to storing with my decorations and pulling out to read again next year. Why? Because of Emma Chase's incredibly funny yet touching and heartfelt parody of the classic Scrooge story. Told from the incomparable POV of the beloved character Drew (of Tangled and Tied fame, it was Emma Chase at her best, creating an even more rich history of Drew and Emma and their precocious son James. I can never read enough of these characters, or of anything Chase writes. The other four stories in the book were also longer and more detailed and interesting than the typical short story found in a holiday anthology. My second favorite,"Saving Grace" by Kristen Proby, was such a delight to read with warm and fun characters finding and developing real chemistry. I will look for more in this series. the other three stories were also strong and provided a real value with all 5 quality stories in one book. But Emma Chase's "A Very tangled Christmas" alone is worth buying the book. less
