review 1: I almost gave up in this book in the first few chapters. Rosie's character annoyed me and her thoughts about other characters (not to mention her obsession over her asshat ex) made me seriously consider putting the book aside, never to be finished. But I forged on and the book got better as did Rosie and my opinion of her. So I am glad I finished. Something about road-trip books just snags my interest. And the characters in this were pretty amazing, too. (The ones that are supposed to be liked, anyway.)
review 2: Almost couldn't bring myself to finish it. The concept of course is what made me pick it up and I was stoked to read about an angry girl who blew up her boyfriends car. Surprise-Rosie is the most annoying main character I have ever met. She is ex... moretremely self centered. Extremely. It's all very unrealistic. The ending also made me mad. It's TOO dreamy and if I said more I'd be spoiling it all. Only reason I did buck up and finish it was their cross country road trip. It sounded a little dreamy. less
