review 1: Spunky, cute - a delightfully fun read! Once again, Jones manages to capture not only the drama of being a teen with great insight, but she does this while crafting well developed characters and an interesting story plot.Bella, her family and friends are quiet the interesting crew. Seriously, not a dull moment in this girl's life! I have to say, that while I really liked this series, I didn't love it like I did the Katie Parker series. That one had me laughing out loud often. Still, this one was interesting, fun and kept the pages turning! I do believe that the last half of Book 1 and Book 2 were my favorite parts of this series. Book 3 was also quiet enjoyable but Book 2 was the show stealer for me. Overall, a fun and entertaining read!***Note- A Charmed Life is 3 Books i... moren 1, the whole series bound together!
review 2: This is one of my favorite book (series) that I've ever read. And that's a lot. I totally applaud Jenny B. Jones, because this is a magnificently written book. I first read it a year ago (over Labor Day weekend), and I read it once again since then. I'm reading The Book Thief at the moment, and as good of a book it is, I'm considering stopping to read A Charmed Life for the third time because I'm missing it. I recommend this book to anyone who's anyone (and that's everyone). It combined the PERFECT amount of wit, humor, and real life to make the best book ever. And to top it off, I'm pretty much in love with Luke... so ya. Bella is one of the best book characters ever. Because I can't say it enough, this is one of the best books ever.And all the kudos goes to Jenny B. Jones. less
