review 1: Having read several of Jesse Kellerman's other books, I was anxious to delve into this one. I enjoyed the first 2 sections of the book (approximately 125 pages), but in section 3 the book took a total 180 and got extremely weird and hard to follow. I forced myself to endure another 75+ pages before I decided to stop wasting my time. With so many other great books out there to be read, it really upsets me to read this far into a book and not be able to finish it! Does this book have some special coded message?
review 2: This mystery by Jesse Kellermann has received a lot of mixed reviews. I loved it. If you are expecting a conventional mystery then you will be disappointed. This unlikely tale is a satire, a spoof about best selling authors, government agencies,
... more spies, international terrorism - it has the lot. But don't take it seriously - it is engaging and funny and I thoroughly enjoyed the author's tongue in cheek poke at the literary and the spy world. less

So very good. I went into this one completely blind and that only added to it's greatness.
