review 1: Let me just start by saying that Jessi Kirby, you are an amazing storyteller. I normally don't read books like hers, but when I read the summary it intrigued me. It was everything I hoped it would be and lived up to expections. It was as good as Golden. I loved the characters, and how relatable they were. This book was a intriguing, as it was realistic and not fictional. And it wasn't all about romance, it was about a life message, and how this girl tries to figure herself and her mom out after her mom dies. This book was just and a good book and I really enjoyed it. The ending was a twist, yet it was a fitting ending.

... moreis book has lovely beach imagery, and it made me want to live in a cottage near the beach. I thought that it was a very heartfelt and sweet book, with a deeper meaning beneath. The symbolism was a bit heavy at times, but it made sense and was brought together nicely. The ending was neatly wrapped in a pretty bow, and it's also nice to know it's a well-written standalone novel. I would recommend this book to fans of Sarah Dessen and Lurlene McDaniel. I think Jessi Kirby is a great writer and I am looking forward to reading her other book, GOLDEN. less
