review 1: Me ha dejado muy indiferente. Esperaba encontrar más en la historia, pero es un inicio de saga muy flojo. Me aburrió en gran parte y no soporté a la protagonista. El trasfondo de la historia da para mucho, en serio. Pero se deja abandonado en gran parte del libro. Para centrarse sólo en Kate y su indecisión sobre que hacer con su vida, que sólo lograba estresarme.Tess es el único personaje que me agradó totalmente, y eso que apenas aparece un par de veces.
review 2: This story is about three sisters who are witches. They had to keep their powers a secret or else they have to be prisoned. They struggle to keep their identity a secret while meeting new witches at the same time. The oldest sister, named Catherine, Cate for short, has to choose between a ma... morerriage or joining the Sisterhood on her intention day. Along the way, Cate fall in love, fight with her sisters and protect her siblings, while struggles to choose her intention. She also found her mother's prophecy, which make her choice even more complicated.This book is a fun to read as it keeps you entertain with the obnoxious rules of witches being prisoned of their bad intentions. Although it makes you curious and frustrated about Cate's choice, it would still keep you entertain for a long time, making you even more curious about the ending. In my opinion, the part where Catherine was controlling her sisters to have her own happiness is where I don't like the most. This is because she spoke towards her sister as if she was deciding their life for them instead of themselves. Although she did it for her sisters and her own good, I think her sister should have more freedom in deciding what they want to do.If you're a fan of powers and fantasy, this would be entertaining for you for the magic and happenings in the story. One of the best books I've ever read! less
