review 1: Five incredible never goodbye stars. The conclusion to Quinn and Addy's story was simply stunning. The line that says it all for me: "... we both experienced love, pain, sorrow, compassion, honesty ... but mostly, forgiveness." Some quotes I loved:"...I don't know if he'll ever know he's the reason my heart is still beating.""I gave my heart to Quinn, and I don't know if I'll ever get it back ... I don't know if I want it back. The numbness I experience without it makes each passing day more bearable.""Maybe you're my true North."Addy: "Why am I even here?..."Quinn: "Me. You're here for me, to love me, live life with with me, be with me. If you're too tired, I'll carry you through every day until you walk on your own again. Just ... stay."I loved how they eventually found ... moretheir own real strength, but also through each other. My absolute best: Elena's letters.This series was awe-inspiring; makes me want to be a better person, to help those around me, and to treat the environment we live in with greater care.
review 2: 3.5 stars..This book has everything and I do mean everything you could want in a book. Let me start out by saying what I loved about these 2 books by Jewel E. Ann. 1. Great chemistry between the H/h.2. Great storyline3. Hot Latin sex God as main male character4. Loveable friendly selfless amazing female lead5. Romance, tragedy, true soul mates, let me say Tragedy again with capital T. What Addy has endured and overcome in here life is amazing !6. Hot sexy scenes all I'm saying is BJ in public garage and BJ in kitchen whew !! Hot7. Great friends Now why I didn't give this more stars:1. So much tragedy that when finally HEA, I felt drained and needed more happy story time with these characters to feel complete.2. Quinn was a di** wayyy to long in the beginning of this book. If I had been in Addy's shoes I soo would have kicked his a** to the curb but then we wouldn't have gotten a great story.3. Possible SPOILER HERE.....Things left unanswered ie who killed her parents, who attacked her and why, what about the lawsuits?? Things I needed answers to since was major parts in story.4. Finally just needed the happy times at the end at least to out number the horribly sad times! I as a reader needed more story into Addy and Quinn's happiness to show since they both have horrible tragedies they overcame. They deserved nothing less!I highly recommend these books you'll laugh, swoon, cry, become all hot and bothered repeatedly in these books. less
