review 1: The Last Day Of Summer was a lovely, slow developing romance between two great main characters. I enjoyed the pace of the book, the many details and background information given and the ups and downs the boys had to go through. I also liked the baseball setting, even if I have no connection to this sports at all! J. F. Smith is a great writer, he manages it to suck the reader in, to make him feel everything the main charcters are feeling. I will definitively look out for other books by this amating writer!
review 2: OH MY GOD!!!! Miracles do happen... JF Smith has become one of the favorite authors I always look for new books to read. Completely by accident I unknowingly came across the book after his awesome book Falling Off the Face of the Earth. And I couldn
... more't have been more pleased. The story of Cory and Rhett tugged at my heart and spoke to my heart in such a profound way. The realistic tale is a cautionary tale of how not living your life to it's fullest is a shame and a waste of a perfect gift. Please read these two books for the good of your soul and spirit. Can't wait for the next installment in this tale. less
