review 1: I liked this book because it wasn't the usual romance I read day to day. The romance and the story were more reality based than the majority I have read, BUT that being said My Sweet Valentine by Jill Sanders was short and sweet.I loved reading it, but the story really did not capture me the way Susan Mallory does who writes the same kinds of reality based romance stories in my opinion. And while it was #6 in a series, I didn't feel overall that I had to read all five leading up to this one, there were casual references to past stories but not enough to make me want to go out searching for them.

A good real-good, easy read for when you're in the mood for a little light romance. I was enjoying right up until Sara's best friend Jotsna Cheng was introduced. (Jotsna being an Indian name from the Sanskrit Jyotsna and Cheng being a Chinese surname-not a very likely combination without a big interesting story behind it anyway.) If the author wanted to introduce an Asian American character Google is a good place to check out names before meshing cultures together and destroying plausibility. less

Sweet, quick read. The stalker was a total surprise, didn't see that coming.
