review 1: Although this was a quick read/novella, it had my two and 8/9ths favorite people in it: Sawyer, Chloe and the Bean! I love all of Jill Shalvis's books but Sawyer is my favorite of her heroes. (Sorry, other hot guys, even outside of Lucky Harbor!) It takes place five years after the original book and it will give you many, many "awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!" moments. And even more belly laughs, at least for me.Go buy and read this book -- you won't be sorry. It isn't long, and hey I'm all about it shoulda been longer so I can read more Sawyer, but it is so very touching and the Bean is the best-est Christmas present ever.
review 2: This was my first Lucky Harbor book and maybe I didn't like it as much because I wasn't familiar with the characters. I just felt that C... morehloe was a bit whiney. I know she was supposed to be overwhelmed with pregnancy hormones, but it was too much. I didn't understand how she could be so insecure after five years of marriage. It was a short story, so maybe I will go back to Luck Harbor, I'm just not sure. less
