review 1: While I really enjoyed this book, I found it a little lacking compared to the previous two books of the Animal Magnetism series. There was definitely chemistry between Adam and Holly, it just wasn't quite as hot as in the previous stories.We have a lot of military in our family and several people who suffer from PTSD. As much as I wish the character of Adam was seeking more professional help with his problems, I was happy to see it addressed and somewhat explained.As much as I'm looking forward to the next book, I'm afraid I may have a bit of a problem. Whenever a love interest in a book has the name of my son Josh, it takes me a few chapters to get over his name. Usually I can do it since it's a pretty common name. But the next book has a hero named Griffin who is ca... morelled Grif, my other son's name and nickname (although we spell it Griff). This may be tough!
review 2: Rescue My HeartBy Jill ShalvisAdam’s back from overseas with some PTSD. He’s returned home to his family, where he works with dogs as an animal trainer. The love of his life, Holly is back in town. She needs Adam’s help to find her dad but soon she’s set to win back Adam’s heart.This was my first Jill Shalvis book. I loved the interaction between the family members. They sound just like my own family. Dell’s and Grif’s teasing of their siblings bring back good memories of growing up. The animals have their own personalities as well. The dogs are a hit! Rescue My Heart is the third book in the Animal Magnetism series. I hadn’t read any of the other books and was able to enjoy and follow the story just fine. If you love a fun contemporary romance with excitement and sibling rivalry, this is the story for you! less
