review 1: I love fairy tale based stuff, especially if they are done well and aren't too predictable....which can happen, I mean they are basing this off a fairy tale you've heard a million times right? The premise is that 3 princesses end up together, Sleeping Beauty (named Talia), Cinderella (named Danielle) and Snow White (who actually goes by Snow).....they are brought together when Danielle's step-sisters kidnap her husband and try to kill her. The three of them go into fairyland to bring him back and stop her sisters as well as find out who is helping them (someone VERY powerful at magic). There are references all the time to how the tales of their lives have been changed, and there are references to some of the old original tales (like Sleeping Beauty waking with the birt... moreh of her children after being raped while asleep)....come to think of it, I'm still trying to find those original tales......sigh.....anyway, it's a fun adventure, with lots of magic and trickery.....I shall have to read more by this author =)
review 2: As soon as I finished this one, I had to go get the rest go the series. Here's the basic plot, Cinderella's Prince Charming is kidnapped by the evil stepsisters. She teams up with Snow White and Sleeping Beauty to get him back. It's hilarious!! Oh ... Red Riding Hood is a feared assassin (probably due to psychological damage brought on by the whole wolf incident). In the next one they take on the Little Mermaid, should be grande. less
