review 1: Though it might have something to do with my utter fascination and love for all things mermaids, I loved this book. For as good as the first book in this series was, The Mermaid's Madness was twice as good. I felt the characters were even richer, with them already being established, and the plot was a lot smoother and flowed better. In addition, the first book was told only from Danielle's 3rd person POV. This book had POVs from Danielle, Talia, Snow, and even some from Lirea. The differing POVs enhanced the story, and I enjoyed it so much more than only Danielle's POV. Now I'm impatiently waiting for the third book to arrive in my mailbox.
review 2: An excellent installment in the Princess series. Everything about this book just checks all the boxes with me. Fu
... moren characters, an interesting story and really well thought out twists on familiar fairy tales. This book dealt with The Little Mermaid, which is one of my favorite fairy tales and least favorite Disney Princess Movie. I really enjoyed how Hines really gets into the mental state of the characters and shows them trying to cope with the history that gave them their iconic names. There were some slow points, but I really enjoyed reading this. It moved the plot along very well and it makes me really glad I decided to just buy all four books at once. less

I liked the first in the series, but this is a dramatic improvement - looking forward to reading #3.
