review 1: I had to keep telling myself "This is a novel!" The story of a Secret Service person who lives with a guilty conscience that if the top would have been up on the limo, Kennedy would have not been killed. I thought it was a real stretch how the problem got solved for him to regain his life ... and why it caused the author to drastically change his life. Not very convincing I didn't think ... another of those books when I think the author doesn't know how to end his book!
review 2: It wasn't amazing, but it was very concise, which is appreciated. The characters were interesting, although I didn't find them to be entirely credible, exactly- particularly the 1st person narrator. I thought the plot was great, as I always thought that as hard as the assassinatio
... moren of JFK hit all Americans, it had to be quite devastating to the Secret Service agents, particularly the ones who were in Dallas that day. less

I didn't think much of this book. It is wooden, awkward and not even exciting given the topic.

The bulk of the book was ok; the ending was, by far, the best part of the whole (easy) read.
