review 1: This book is rated R for the sexual content. You must be mature enough to handle high amounts of graphic scenes. In the second book, you continue Brett and Evvie's journey. You find what really triggers the instability between them and what drives them apart. And maybe a little change of POV. Continue reading to discover how the other characters affect Evvie and Brett in their later journey. It will not be good. There is going to be turmoil. There will be death. And there's going to be lots of sex. Like x10 and more. Continue their journey in the third and final book in the Torn Trilogy.
review 2: This is really gearing up for something. So we continue to follow the roller coaster of a relationship with Evvie and Brett: sadistic abusive mothers, ex girlfriends,
... more blackmailers, business partners, brothers, sisters, fathers, you've got it all here.Brett is so in love with Evvie that it's overwhelming to read. And he's a "dominant" but he's really out of control and needs therapy which he's seeking out but it's not really working when the source of your issues is still alive and still abusing you even when you're a grown man.I still don't understand Evvie's love for this dude but I'm presuming that the third book will resolve this or shed some light. There's a horrific set of scenes at the end that may be difficult for readers who have abuse issues, pregnancy/miscarriage issues. less
