review 1: Hot,passionate, sex of the charts, beautiful ending.while reading this trilogy I never expected to have a cry moment but I did.The last book surpased previous books I never expected it to be as emotional. previous books were raw, passionate, Brett was possessive, jelous and demanding. Evvie is a girl who can hold her own having 3 protective brothers & Brett met his match. reading about 4 grown men crying did me I was a blubbering mess but it completed this series for me I was beginning to think it was sex & more sex so this last book with substance was epic.
review 2: What a brilliant and beautiful conclusion to an amazing trilogy. It made all the difference being in Brett's head for a change, you can really see why he is the way he is and the journal entries... more, oh God the journal entries nearly broke my heart a few times. But the hot dominating sex more than makes up for the heartbreak and angst that this amazing author has managed to get into this story. I mean I am actually still crying and I finished this book an hour ago. It was just all so emotionally charged, they just get through one heartbreak and then bam!! There's something else that will make you tear up and grab the tissues. Just thinking about it actually has me reaching for the tissues now. I am sad about one thing though and that is because it's over. I've loved Brett from the beginning, his domineering ways and attitude, Eevie's abilities to keep him calm and grounded. Fantastic epilogue too, that made me cry too. Awwww hell I've cried through the whole bloody thing. 5 stars less
