review 1: I've only read one of these stories, Nemesis, but it is not listed separately. This is about a shooting after a jewelry store robbery, investigated by Harry Hole. It turns out to be related to the "suicide" of Anna, and also to a bank robber who is currently in jail. Harry makes a relationship with Beatte Loenn, the detective who remembers all faces she's seen.I like Harry Hole mysteries! I have to get the earlier ones now.
review 2: I've been reading this trilogy for nearly a year. Gack! It's simply because I keep picking up other things than this. It's not a slight on Jo Nesbo at all. His Harry Hole character is terrific, and the translation is a breeze to read. I finished Redbreast last year, and didn't start Nemesis until the first week of August 2012. I'm
... morehalf-way through Nemesis and am really enjoying it. I still highly recommend Jo Nesbo to anyone who like police procedurals/murder mysteries with fractured protagonists. And, 6 months after I wrote this, I've finished! Opinion still the same - quite enjoyed The Devil's Star. less
