review 1: First off, if you are a huge fan of Joanne Fluke and are looking forward to another cozy, put the book down and walk away slowly. This is not the book for you. If however you are open minded and looking for a new voice, come on in. The characters are a tad one dimensional at times but the story was a good ride. This is not a feel but I don't think they are supposed to be. good book. It is interesting and a decent read. The characters are not extremely sympathetic but I do not think they were meant to be. This is a creepy dark book. A good read but a crepy dark book.
review 2: I found this book to be really hard to read. The main charactes were unsympathetic. I can't imagine loosing a child and being able to return to teach her class. The parents never reall
... morey seemed to grieve. I found this book basically disturbing. What is up Joanne? I like your cozy writing much better than this grittier thriller stuff you have rereleased of late--please rethink cozy. I'm done with non-cozy Joanne Fluke. less
