review 1: Love and peaches is the last in the amazing trilogy peaches. It's all about the final decisions of the girls, and where they will end up. Leeda will find a new love, some secrets about her grandmom, and a forgoten love for animals. And one of the girls will find out that maybe New York isn't the place for them. Birdie is going to have to make some more tough decisions on the orchard, after all it is placed above a deep cave that have been slowly making all the buildings sink for years. Plus she hasn't completely forgoten about Enrico. Murphy is still so indecicive about Rex, but things always work out in the end. She's also has been eager to know about the results of her mom's paternity test ever since she found out about it. And after another long summer, the girls have f... moreigured out where they belong. This book is a total chick book. You'll probably like it if you like romance and drama, mixed in with just a bit of adventure. If you're a dude you probably won't like it, and if you don't like drama or girly books you might not like it. But hey, you never know.I like this book because it's about growing up with people you love. And even though all these girls are in some ways completely different, they still spend their high school years, and more, with eachother.
review 2: The third Peaches book by Jodi Lynn Anderson will be well-liked by fans of the previous books and can also function decently as a stand-alone for those unfamiliar with the series. The girls are back in town after their first year of college and are enjoying one last summer with the peaches.Though I enjoyed this book, everything felt a little bit too familiar; The plot felt a little recycled. There was the same old "I like him but can't let myself feel anything serious" Murphy/Rex drama, Leeda needing to learn to stand up to her family, and Birdie being awkward with boys that we've seen in the previous books. My favorite things were the interesting revelation about Leeda's grandmother and the introduction of Grey, though he could have used some more fleshing out as a character. I also really enjoyed the epilogue that neatly wrapped everything up in a way that will satisfy the fans of the trilogy. In short, there's nothing ground-breaking in this book but it is still a lovely story about a trio of friends who truly care about each other and a nice end to the trilogy. less
