review 1: I was a little disappointed in Among the Unseen. I enjoyed the first two books and went straight to this one after finishing the second. Cedar seemed out of character. She had been strong willed and stubborn in the first two books but in this one she was completely unreasonable in her hatred on an entire type of magical being. In the end, the story pulled itself together but there were a couple of points where I wasn't sure I was going to make it to the end.
review 2: Among the Unseen is a wonderful ending to the Thin Veil trilogy. The story is enthralling, keeping you in suspense to find out how Cedar will evolve, and will she save Tír na nÓg and all magical creatures in time? I loved this story. With strong, intriguing, characters, beautiful description... mores and a quick pace, Jodi McIssac really drove home her love for all things Magical. I highly recommend reading the entire series, including the novella Beyond the Pale. less
