review 1: I've been waiting for the asteroid, kinda thought that would happen. Also like the blasting the age back into the vampires. Kinda strange that Chris does not handle demons outside of the US. As God touched he would be needed everywhere there are humans and strife, but he stays primarily in the US and only travels just outside of the borders on tangent themes. In theory the demons should be gathering forces outside of the US and only keeping enough activity to keep him occupied, which would be a good idea except that he keeps getting stronger.
review 2: John Conroe's books are just plain fun. While reading "Fallen Stars," it occurred to me a few of the things I really enjoy about John's stories. First, John does a great job creating characters. The reader
... morewill love and enjoy sitting back and reading the interactions between the characters. Second, while the books are part of a series, they each have their own story line with satisfying endings. Finally, one can never complain that John's book are slow paced. While Chris and Tanya are a formidable.duo, John balances it with the characters dealing with daily problems. For example, in your life you may have problems with in-law. Chris and Tanya have to deal with the whole vampire coven full of scheming, arrogant, vampires, half of which want Chris dead. Being a super killing machine, or having Grim, does not help. Even the super powerful have to deal with family. In the end, you can trust the John will make everything work out and give you a great tale along the way. It is always a fun journey. If you have enjoyed the other Demon Accords books, you will enjoy "Fallen Stars." less
