review 1: your mom just said she doesn't want to see you ever again. Your teacher is an assassin who can not be trusted and is forcing you to do his dirty work that can get you or your loved ones killed. Your girlfriends parents hate you and want you dead .you have a swarm of demonic demon killers after you.. what is there not to love about this book...:) though the second book was not as good as the first. off to read the third hope it is just as good as the first.
review 2: I really wanted to love this one, but I felt like maybe it was more of a "middle book" (i.e., getting the scooby gang in place for book 3). There were so many new characters. I actually switched to another book and then had a hard time remembering all of the characters when I came back to Dark Lig... moreht of Mine. I think I enjoyed the first book so much, because we were in Justin's head more and learning about his new powers. (I missed the Justin from the previous book.) I think I saw some reviews for the first book in which people complained that there wasn't enough action, so maybe that's why there was almost too much action in this one. It's such a hard balance to achieve. less
