review 1: One of the best of the Stories For Demented Children (Emo Bunny That Should being the undisputed BEST of them all). I really liked the storyline; the fairies are out to secure their freedom from the cruelty of the elves (including making them dance through children's dreams wearing skimpy clothing, tsk tsk) and unintentionally gain the help of Santa and Mrs. Clause. Really a lot of fun to read. :)
review 2: When ever I am in between books and need a good short story to fill the gap I can count on John Carroll. I have enjoyed every one of his shorts stories I have read so far. Some of course I like better than others but they are always a fun read. This one is about the revolt of the Sugar Plum Fairies. Feeling that working conditions are harsh they plan to over
... more throw the elves and make a change. Clever in its writing, this was a great Christmas story to tide me over till Santa brought me new books. Another winner and I hope he keeps the shorts coming. less
