review 1: Het boek werd erg langdradig. De eerste paar pagina's was het nog spannend, maar de spanning verdween vrij snel, gewoon omdat er niets nieuws gebeurde. De ongeveer 200 pagina's vol met conversaties tussen de professor en zijn overleden familieleden (in de vorm van hallucinaties) haalde alle spanning en vaart uit het verhaal. Het verhaal draait eigenlijk om deze hallucinaties en niet om Jennifer. Ik was blij dat ik het boek uit had.
review 2: At first this book seemed very slow even to the point I almost stopped reading it. Then close to the end I was glad I had. There were three actual story lines going at the same time up to the point it all came together. I will add that the author could so have easily made it more gory they did not. Imagination is much st... moreronger then what you actually read or see. To only see some of the after affects adds to ones imagination.If you come to the understanding that the author used each story line to progress to the final then you will be on the edge of your seat wondering each time where one of them will trip up.Having said that I truly enjoyed this book. less
