review 1: This is the second book by Lorke and already, he reminds me a lot of James Hardley Chase where sometimes the good guys die and other times, the bad guy is actually the good guy. That aside, Kill Jill is a good read. Doesn't feel too much like a novel but more like a movie script. This however doesn't mean you're not super excited. The first pages were grabbing, a few pages in and I was doubtful but once the book moves into motion it's hard to drop it.
review 2: I love John Locke's books ... Usually. They are cheap, they are funny, they are obnoxious and ridiculous and so much fun to read. I have read every single Donovon Creed and all the Emmett and Gentry books as well as the Dani Ripper books, BUT this one I wasn't crazy about. It was fast paced like his other
... mores and had some witty dialogue but (if this is possible) it was too over the top even for me. The mobster Bobby ... It was just too much. And these men that fall in love over a nice set of boobs and a good lay ... Really?Anyway, I finished it quickly but was disappointed wasn't really an ending but a --- to be continued (ugh).I'll continue reading Locke's stuff, but not this series. less

I really enjoy John Locke's books, but this one was disappointing. It was way too out there for me!
