review 1: Apparently this author's books are all .99 on kindles and Nook which is admittedly why I first started his "Donavon Creed" series.Once you finish it though, you really don't feel like you read a .99 book. Most of those I don't really find entertaining or engaging, and usually I don't even finish them...but not so with Locke.Donovan is an awesome character. I love his attitude and humor, and I enjoy seeing how he gets out of some of his situations. I feel towards him almost the same way as I feel towards Dexter. He's a killer, but yet I love him. Each of Locke's books take you on a fun, action packed, fast-paced ride!
review 2: Read this because of an article in the WSJ.As a lover of spy thrillers, I gave it a try. However, I could not get past the main character
... more Donovan Creed. An assain who kills terrorist for the USA, I can accept. But, on the side, kills Americans for anyone who gives him $50,000, Please...And the author tries to make him a hero...Not for me.I will stick with Vince Flynn and Brad Thor...John Locke is not worth the $0.99 I paid. less
