review 1: Wow, that was some good, crazy stuff. One problem though with this and Verdon's last book, I figured almost everything out way before the end. By the time the Florida stuff went down, I figured out who the perp was and who he really was. However that didn't stop it from being a great book and wondering how Guerney didn't figure things out way earlier too, just like I did. If you like f'ed up mysteries this one is perfect.
review 2: Another good mystery by this 'new-to-me' author. I love following Dave Gurney as he untangles a huge ball of conflicting/confusing leads and "facts" to arrive at the solution. I find how people think very intriguing, and the author makes you feel like you're working with the main character to solve the case. He details how he thinks ... moreand why, admits when he's gotten off track and shares his "AHA!! moments as if they are your victory too. I will be reading more from this author!! less
