review 1: Okay, after 2 years I finally found this book. At that time I was 12 & I found it at the library and this definitely isn't what 12 years should read...let's just say I learned a lot. Its was judt that I misinterpreted the synopsis. It said his best friend moves from the friend zone and nest friend is attracted to guys (don't remember what it said exactly) I had to read this book in secret. So I went through a sex scene and sthff like that. It swore also but 12 year old Maria was going through a sailor mouth phase so that wasnt a problem. Well anyway nooow, I don't think I enjoyed it. The only thing I liked was Jen 5 (the character not the name). She reminded me of Annabeth.

The music influence that Sammy talks about is wonderful, so wonderful that he makes me have the urge to want to search up all the bands and songs he mentions, just so I can connect with him and feel what he feels about those bands/songs. less
