review 1: Frankenstein's Monster and the Bride of Frankenstein create a son, named Boy. They all live together -- along with many other mythical creatures and monsters -- in a theater in NYC where they make a living putting on live shows for unsuspecting audiences. Boy tires of hiding from the general population and runs away. What ensues is a funny, fresh take on a cross-country road trip. Filled with clever, modern twists on old themes, this is an entertaining read!
review 2: What an interesting concept... Victor Frankenstein, scientist and oddball creates creature and a creature for him. The monsters end up in New York City and have a teenage son..."Boy". This is the tale of Boy coming of age, while dealing with all sorts of mythological creatures and a creation
... moreof his own that helps him to come to terms with his parents' creator. I would not be surprised to see a sequel since Boy heads off to Switzerland to live with the Frankensteins while attending college. less

Fun. Sort of reminded me of the movie "Hotel Transylvania" and the TV show "The Munsters.
