review 1: This book had more romance/sex than I care to read, otherwise, it was a good read. It takes in San Antonio, Texas, where Rebecca Montgomery is a police detective. She meets an intriguing man named Diego Galvan who has ties to a local crime boss. Years before, Rebecca's younger sister had been brutally murdered. As the story progresses, other people's lives are found to be tied and intermingled with the crime in this city. Diego is smitten with Rebecca, but though an undercover FBI agent, he needs to keep playing his role. Timing is everything, and when it all unravels, it seems as though everything will go wrong.

She knew her killer was still out there. She would do anything to stop him in his tracks. But as a seductive stranger that shadowed her every move, she met Diego Galvan at the crime scene of they've found a young woman's remains inside a burnt-down movie theater.
