review 1: A good, short ghost story for children. Beautifully illustrated and a quick, easy read that's still compelling enough to hold the interest of kids and the adults who may happen to be reading it to them as a bedtime story. I kept trying to stop reading and got the standard "Nooooooooo!", so we finished it in one night. I recommend this for ages 8 and up but my chicas are inured to the scary aspects of ghost stories at bedtime (and all other times). More sensitive children should probably wait on this one.

This (if you are an adult or a kid that is older or advanced reader)is something you can pick up and read in definitely under an hour. I grabbed this book because I read that the aut... morehor wrote The Last Apprentice and thought it may give me an idea of the author's style. So I've decided that once I finish up some other books that are apart of a series I'll come back to The Last Apprentice. less
