review 1: Well-worth reading book as a whole. I found the last chapter to be most excellent. Joseph Prince uncovered some great connections and revelations in that chapter. It is interesting that he put so many revelations, that at least I thought were quite powerful, one after another in the last chapter, rapid fire. But he certainly caused the book to go out with the bang. Why is it so intimidating for us to claim the power of Jesus in our lives? It should be the one thing extremely easy to do in our lives because I mean it can only lead to good things! Yet I think it is just that fear that if we go in whole heartedly in asking Jesus that he will not come through and then what will we be left with? And that keeps us from wanting to whole heartedly beseech him. Yet in reality we sho... moreuld not have this fear. It is a fear without possibility.
review 2: A few years ago my leader in campus ministry, lent me 3 pieces of the DVD from Joseph Prince ( JP ) , she lent me so i can learn more about grace and as a materials for my first sermon , at that time in 2007 . I liked his sermons its so simple and open my mind for a few things , but there just was not interested in me any further. Then there was much debate about the JP’s teaching of grace among the alumni in my ministry , there are pros and there are cons . At first I was a little counter , but then I remain neutral , and finally the beginning of this year I decided to borrow this book , this time not out of curiosity and to ensure my position between opposing parties but I was longing to know and understand God's love for me over the again . I believe there is nothing more meaningful in my life than the love of God ..At first I read it slowly, and sometimes there is a page that I pass , I also pass through many pages of the law , I already study about it from Derek Prince’s teaching . But the last five chapters I’am increasingly more interested in , and I started reading all my heart until God touched my heart , through a few simple sentences , especially about John knew he was the disciple whom Jesus loved , I then tried to call myself , " disciple ,whom Jesus loved .. " and I was crying , I was a cell group leader for 9 years , and longs to be a true disciple of Jesus , but I often feel like a failure and not appreciated in my ministry , often think that Jesus had a favorite disciple in my ministry also, just like John , and it's certainly not me . but now by faith I know that I’m, a disciple whom Jesus loves .The second thing that touched me was when the devil tempted Jesus , and he removes the word " beloved " when asked Jesus .. Satan tried to steal my identity as a daughter of God, once again I put my name .. " Echa , you are my beloved daughter , with whom I am well pleased" and tears flooded me again . God loves me and pleases me as His own daughter , as I have occupied the place that Jesus had when He gave His life for me on the cross . I pray that the reality of God 's love continue to grasp my life forever , yes I believe it .In general, JP’s writing is understandable enough , he does not use difficult languages , writing simple and touching things that are practical . I do not have much trouble even with my poor English, for it’s not my native language less
