review 1: I really liked this book for two reasons. First, the content itself seemed very thorough and covered a broad range of topics. Second, I love that the topic discussions were followed by recommendations for further reading. He gave what I imagine is a very high level overview of what you would cover in a 2 year program, and specific books and authors to look up for more information on any topic you wanted covered in more depth.
review 2: really good book. Lots of interesting facts, a very useful list of books to read. Well organised, easy to read. If there is a fault it is in the title and the first chapter. Just ignore the first chapter as it does not add anything to the content of the book but it is a sort of explanation of the title. If the title was Person... moreal finance, or something like that, it would have been difficult to market it. Personal MBA I think is a misleading title. The book is very useful for people with little experience in finance as me. less
