review 1: Yet another vampire tale. Though this one is a wholly new direction from the usual. I appreciate the tongue in cheek humor, the references to other geeky good fictions, and the writing. It is clever and topical and a highly enjoyable read. The characters are fully fleshed out and developed and the story line follows the accepted tropes with more character and wit than it has any right to. I will most likely continue with this series as it is a very pleasant way to pass an afternoon when you want to read something light and escapist.
review 2: I was so disappointed. The only appealing about the book is the very creepy cover. Sorry but unless the vampires are vegeterians or they look like the Blue Bloods of from Vampire Academy they are not my thing. Dont het me
... morewrong. The book might started just fine...until chapter 4.And the final battle was kind of awsome. And smitty's story was very good. But vampires helping ppl in pain to die in order to feed....?Not my thing. less
