review 1: Lys and Rip. Wow. I thought Lys was being kind to Rip. I am not sure if I really even bought Rip's sudden change of heart. My heart broke for Lys though :( Oh and can we talk cannibalism? Seriously. I can see attacking prey, but seriously eating them. WOW. I still can't get over the Elders though. Someone HAS to report them. I want to see them go down! I forget who said it, but they were right, it's arranged marriages, rape in some cases, death if they don't follow the rules, etc. It truly sucks when the Elders can SEE they don't want this and yet they still record the mating anyway. Some not even given the choice. :( How can they ever trust them again?
review 2: This wasnt bad at all. First were-penguin I ever had tho lol, I think that is what ... moremakes this series one of my guilty reading pleasures is the unorthodox creatures who find their better half in the chaotic mess created by the elders. The prey who are attracted to predators a contradiction of natural law which are most of the problems that arise when each character to "getting to know" the other person. Love! less
