Anything Goes
review 1: Well, so much for different.Cody is the author’s standard character these days. Horny, promiscuous, exhibitionistic, full of himself, bitchy, insensitive to others, over-sensitive about himself, selfish, egotistical, rude, touchy. The list goes on. (And I don’t care if some of these are redundant. They’re all well-earned.)Also kind of weird to be spending so much time in the beginning on Cody with another guy as though he was going to be the love interest. Including sex and all.And what happened to the condom rule, huh?Single viewpoint though. A pity our viewpoint character is so unlikeable. There is a cute moment or two, but almost immediately followed by just more exhibitionistic sex, so that detracts from the benefits.
review 2: I have to say that this
... morewas not one of my favorites, I usually do not give one star ratings, but this book had a lot of things that did not make this an enjoyable read, at least for me. I can overlook the fact that Cody likes sex, at least he is honest and it's not like he cheats on his lovers. However, there was some parts such as the way Belz treats Cody and then all his friends are giving excuses to his behavior and pushing Cody to give Belz another chance. Also, I thought the language was too cheezy and I like relationships to be more realistic and personalized and I did not think that these characters were a good match. less
