review 1: 3.5 StarsI dip in and out of this series. They all start off at the same point - a meeting off all the paranormals being told that they have to find a mate of a different species within 24 hours or risk being declared feral. After being given a glass of spiked bubbly their lust increases and basically it is a sexual free for all. This time round it is Vampire Sterling and Werewolf Beau. The biting/mating part is easy. It is always the impact it has on real life after the lust has worn off that causes grief. Two strangers having to merge their lives together...oh and the rule passed on by the Elders that the mating has to be consummated every 24 hours, or again the effects will be that you go feral and will have to be exterminated. A light hearted series and a bit of... more fun.
review 2: Sterling Roane has a job to do, he’s the personal bodyguard to a vampire coven leader. When the council of elders spell is cast and all hell breaks loose, Sterling tries to get the leader out. When a werewolf shifter interferes and the fighting begins, Sterling finds himself mated to the Alpha of the Pacific Northwest Region. When the mating heat wears off he finds out Beau isn’t gay and he’s engaged to be married to a woman. Sterling dumps Beau in the middle of nowhere and tries to go back to his old life. Only someone is waiting in New York to claim him and it is not Beau. Can Beau find and save his mate in time?Fang and Fur is part of the Midnight Matings series by Stormy Glenn. In this installment of the series, Ms. Glenn gives us werewolves and vampires. I like how each book in this series has a different author, they each bring variety and spice to the books. Beau is very much a leader. He’s all man and a tough one at that. Under the influence of magic he has to mate. Who does he choose? A very alpha male named Sterling, who’s used to protecting others. When Beau says he doesn’t want him, Sterling isn’t going to hang around waiting to be kicked out. He’s hard headed, which makes him strong and loveable. I like that Sterling doesn’t let anyone walk all over him. I didn’t see the twist at the end of the story coming; Beau more than proves his love to Sterling. I’m looking forward to reading more books in this series. There’s always a twist or turn to explore and lots of hot man love to enjoy. less
