review 1: Funny and a little bit sweet. Charlie is full of snark and more than a little jaded. He likes what he does and there isn't any ansgt about it. John is pretty naive for a big business man but then again he isn't to successful either. They make an odd couple but it seems to work. For a short story this made me smile alot and it had a nice sweet ending. I'm really looking forward to future books.
review 2: I enjoyed this story, it's so different from JP Barnaby's usual dark stories... which I like just fine, but it's nice to see she can go light too. This is good, there is some depth to the characters, they both have a history and are on a path heading somewhere. They meet for a naughty weekend in a hotel, it goes right, but not as they expected! I liked Joh
... moren and Charlie quite a lot, Charlie especially as he knows who he is and his own value.Looking forward to the next one! less
