review 1: A short Samantha Moon story. A nice addition to a series I enjoy. Took so long cause I started it late the night before I worked the elections and didn't get a chance to read at all the next day. There isn't much humor in this story like in many of his other stories, but then again it is dealing with the serious story line of stopping a child killer. Kind of hard to make that light hearted. The story hurt my heart for the little boy ghost, Rain does a good job of making you feel for his characters. Look forward to the next in this extremely reasonably priced series.
review 2: I have been following Samantha Moon's life since she became a Vampire and she continues to grow into her powers and herself. This story is one that any mother can appreciate but it i... mores a bit brutal. I just love how she is developing herself and coming to terms with her life. Her children are just awesome, so understanding and mature. Cannot wait to see what happens next to this amazing character. less
