review 1: Young Lt in Nashville investigates a terrible murder. Along the way she is framed, what is worse, her own police department are against her.Although from the beginning, I knew "who dun it" how the detective finally got there was filled with adventure. I enjoyed this book, and will buy more by this author, as one has to know what happens next. Ends with cliff hanger, and one has to read the next book to find out how our detective fares!

... moree parts of the story rather than focusing on the "life" of Taylor Jackson (I think that's her name, unfortunately even after two books I care so little about this character I have a hard time remembering her name even though I just finished this book about a half hour ago), these novels could be really excellent mystery/thrillers. That being said, this is an easy, fast read and I will more likely than not read another because they are a good palate cleanser for in between the more literary works I often read. less
