review 1: This is such a fun book. Zog is a dragon and tries really hard to do well at dragon school. The only problem is that he's a bit accident prone. When learning to fly, he runs into a tree. When learning to breathe fire, he sets his wing alight. Fortunately, each time he hurts himself, a mysterious girl pops out of the woods with her medicine bag and patches him up. But his biggest test comes when he has to capture a princess. Will he succeed and graduate from dragon school with flying colours? The book has a great ending that shows you can be true to your calling, be whatever you want to be, and help others in the process. The illustrations are also really fun and provide lots of interest. A book that adults will enjoy reading as much as chil... moredren.

She's armed with almost everything and helps Zog get back on track!Scheffler's bright bold illustrations are the perfect accompaniment to Julia Donaldson's clever rhyming text. And the twist at the end is a delightful reminder of the importance of not being afraid to be different and having the courage to follow your heart. less
