review 1: This book seemed to have a lot of potential in the beginning, but then fell flat for me. It was quite frustrating and confusing, since Lydia was a feminist, But so easily directed around and weak. She went back and forth from being weak then strong. With her strong moments only being moments. Both characters were constantly having emotional and career happiness/sadness that opposed the day before. Needless to say, I won't be reading the next book.
review 2: 1. The author didn't keep up with the scenes. A specific scene would happen and 10 pages later you'd find the characters in the scene again, not as a memory, but IN the scene. This happened often. 2. Lydia is the most confused feminist ever. It's unattractive. The character has a masters in gender whatever.
... morePossibly the worst educational background for a submissive. 3. The story line is just enough that if you can get past the scene issues and Lydia's idiot brain v. body issues you can enjoy this book and look forward to seeing if book 2 is wrote the same way. less

Meh. This was pretty much an 'okay'. Some parts made me cringe though.
