review 1: Very interesting idea - to write a book in three parts. Each part is about one pair and is written by new author. The seams between parts are so slim, that it was hard to tell where one ended and another began. Especially since I was listening to the audiobook. So I can't reallt tell who wrote which part.A Scotish laird kidnapped four ladies and a duke form a ball. But one of the ladies (or maybe even two of them) and definitely the Duke were taken by mistake - they happened to be in the wrong place at a wrong time :) So they were kidnapped with the sole purpose to become future brides to the unruly nephews. And they server their purpose :) In the end we see four weddins - all four ladies are taken and all four men are married (including an old laird).
review 2:... more> Sebenernya aku gak bisa kasih penilaian buku mana dr seri ini yang paling rame atau romantis. Masing-masing cerita--pasangan punya ciri khas nya sendiri-sendiri. Seperti di novel ini:Pasangan satu itu, menyedihkan untuk si heroine-nya dan alasan yg kocak untuk hero berada di kastil itu --> sweet.Pasangan dua itu too romantic = heroine nya yang tidak terduga oleh hero nya ditambah hero yang menginginkan apa yang tidak dimiliki oleh Ayahnya dan agar dia tidak seperti beliau.And then pasangan tiga ituu kocak, dengan sifat hero-heroine yang ternyata sama sekali berbeda dengan apa yang mereka tampilkan di masyarakat, dan mendapati bahwa mereka 'tertukar' sifat di kastil Scotland yang 'bebas'.Tapi yang paling aku suka dari novel ini bagian epilognya; yang memperlihatkan para gentleman yang arogan dengan ucapan mereka dan kisah unpredictable--but so predictable to me, adalah pasangan keempat. Oh, begitu kalian baca bagian awal dari cerita ini kalian pasti akan langsung menebaknya. less
