review 1: That was fun. Light, silly, fully ridiculous in places, especially the romantic bits, but I like that now and then (well, less the ridiculous romance bits, but it squared with the rest of the story). The real highlight was the characters - despite this being a light read, this had a lot of point of views/characters involved and yet they were all individual, with backstories, perspectives and personalities of their own. Especially fun was the banter between the several sets of siblings in the book. This felt a little like a cracky multiship romance fanfic with characters I don't know yet and thinking of it like that went a long way to smoothing over the more ludicrous bits.
review 2: The delineations between parts isn't marked, and the setting is in a small teen
... morey font, so a flashback threw me off when the novel switched to the next romance. I loved the first romance (painfully shy beauty, quite interesting). The second one was pretty decent (heroine who spoke bluntly about practical farm matters like irrigation). The third romance was a little stilted (hero is horse-crazy and doesn't notice women). The framing device was amusing. less

Too short for any character development, which makes the book a bit of a bore...
