review 1: I don't know if I've ever read a book that made my life look this good. Wertz's story is gritty, depressing, hilarious and just generally inappropriate. At first I really wasn't into the very cartoony drawing style or the character of Wertz but they both quickly grew on me and I couldn't put it down. My favorite thing about the person/character of Wertz is that she is screwed up and a screw-up, knows it, and is unashamed.
review 2: Wasn't crazy about the artwork, or the humor sometimes, but ultimately it was a pretty fresh + real look at being a dumb 20-something making dumb choices. A lot of the time that gets glorified (hello I think we've all seen "Girls") but this was honest: yeah, you're going to live in stupid apartments and eat a lot of burritos and
... more have no life goals and probably be depressed. And it's kinda funny, in the end. less

Puede ser el típico libro, pero es gracioso. Y no todos los típicos libros lo son.

I liked it. A good autobiographical coming-of-age graphic book!

Reminds me of Girls. Entertaining narcissistic urban comedy.
